Happy May!! Looking back on last month, below are my top 4 favorite things. I am not affiliated with any of the products or resources below. I’ll let you know in future posts if I am 🙂

The Patter App {Astrology app}: I love learning more about myself based on my birthdate, time periods in my life, birth time, and numerology. I list my monthly horoscope highlights in my journal and make decisions based on them, which are almost always spot on! This app caught my attention because it’s a combination of all of the above, plus a ‘world update’ that outlines the current trends in the world. Your patterns are broken down into the categories: Empowered or Repressed, Powerful and Private, Communication Fears, Relationship Fears, Ideal Relationship, Destiny, Work and Public Life. Your daily pattern is updated every 24 hours. Ultimately, the information provided is things you already know but don’t often trust or use to guide your actions. Give it a try if you want to take your journey to self-exploration a little deeper.

Yoga Glo Online {Home workouts}: Lately, I’ve been wanting to exercise more at home, especially after a long day when I want to escape the noise and turn my energy inward. I love lifting and will always go to the gym for my weight lifting workouts, but I decided to move my stretching and Yoga practice to my basement. I am absolutely loving it thanks to the amazing instructors and variety of Yoga classes at YogaGlo.com. I have all the space I need to move on my mat with expert guidance that makes my basement feel like my own studio. I created a personal profile on their website, selected my preferred teachers and class styles and I am staying consistent with my practice…all for $18.99 per month. These days my workout schedule is 3 days in the gym, 1 day at of Yoga at home, daily stretching and foam rolling and plenty of walks with Ace.

Direction is so much more important than speed. Many are going nowhere fast. {Quote}: A reminder to slow down and evaluate your goals to make sure they align with where you want to be instead of stressing over how fast you reach them. When we rush, we’re reckless and we miss the important lessons along the way.

Madewell Banadana {Fashion}: I think this is the worst pollen season VA has ever seen…but I say that every year! I’m doing my best to keep my face and hair pollen-free, but wearing hats every day makes my hair dry and brittle. I really like this new super soft cotton Bandana from Madewell. It’s natural hair friendly, lightweight and stylish compared to the regular bandanas that can be crunchy and thick. I’m wearing the ‘Nightfall’ one size and will definitely buy a few more to get me through the summer.

What are some of your favorite things?
